Cavity Batten System has been developed specifically to provide the ultimate defence against the transfer of moisture in cavity wall construction, for all cladding types, protecting the structural integrity of residential and commercial buildings.

• Thermal break between the cladding and framework increase the ‘R’ value of the building making it more energy efficient.

Cavibat protects the integrity of your building by providing a total moisture barrier, thermal break and unobstructed draining and ventilation around the total building. Cavibat is suitable for use with all cladding types for timber and steel framed construction. The batten may be used for wall or roofing systems offering rigid support for the cladding. The system is BRANZ Appraised, No. 524 (2007) as an alternative solution to E2/AS1 and exceeds H1 Thermal Break requirements. Note: when a thermal break and insulation is required use Cavibat ‘R’
